Considerando a complexidade e os problemas inerentes a esta problemática, em particular a ambiguidade e a falta de clareza relativamente ao lugar e ao papel que as TIC devem ocupar no currículo, o estudo aqui apresentado visa aprofundar o conhecimento sobre o modo como, em Portugal, se perspectivam as TIC no currículo formal do ensino básico.Seguindo os princípios metodológicos da referencialização, foi desenvolvido um “modelo de leitura” para descrever e dar sentido à informação analisada. O estudo incidiu na análise do discurso pedagógico em torno das TIC manifesto no Currículo Nacional do Ensino Básico (CNEB), segundo três focagens distintas: (1) na inclusão das TIC nos elementos curriculares estruturantes do CNEB; (2) na relação entre as TIC e as experiências de aprendizagem; (3) no tipo de saberes em TIC visados. Taking in mind the complexity and the problems related to the problematic, particularly the ambiguity and the lack of clarity related to the place and role of the ICT in the curriculum, the present study aims to deepen the knowledge about the way how, in Portugal, the ICT are regarded in the formal curriculum for basic education. Following the methodological principles of referentialization, we develop a “reading model” to describe and to give a mean to the analysed data. The study scope was the pedagogical speech analysis around ICT manifesto in the “Currículo Nacional do Ensino Básico” (CNEB) (national curriculum for basic education), following three different approaches: (1) on the inclusion of ICT in the structural curricular elements of CNEB; (2) on the relation between ICT and learning experiences; (3) on the kind of focused ICT knowledge.
