Terminamos com considerações sobre o papel do framework conceptual na investigação e a referência a necessidade de incluir o problema metodológico da caracterização do quadro teórico conceptual numa agenda de investigação em educação matemática.; This article draws from the need for clarification of constitutive elements of research in mathematics education. In particular, we discuss the role of theory in research and the notion of theoretical, practical and conceptual framework adopting the terminology of Eisenhart.
