Resumo: The historiography dedicated to exhibitions has disregarded the role of Exhibition Design language as the transmitter of ideas and matters of artistic exploration. Mentioning the author of the museum exhibition is still be, mainly, talking about the curator or who creates the concept development of the exhibition itself. We suspect much of the perpetuation of the role of the curator as the guardian of knowledge, other voices become anonymous, such as educators, producers, designers and the visitors. This thesis questions this status and intends to rethink and clarify the importance of the act of exposing according to a new historiographical perspective. This confirmation came from extensive studies in the past two decades and indicates the presence of other authors in the creation of the exhibition concept, particularly one whose importance has grown exponentially in the museum world, the designer. The thesis will place, in historical chronology, some relevant events of this artistic practice, and will allow to understand how the exhibition design was an important aspect in some seasons (especially during the modern vanguards of the century. XX) and how there was a skepticism sometimes patronizing its representation. Based on this point, we find in the scientific exhibition 360º Science Discovered, the explanation and the example of what has been told above. The exhibition display, illustrates clearly how the sensitive transmission of conceptual narrative may result in a beneficial physical and metaphoric contextualization of objects in three-dimensional space of the exhibition. Only achievable due to the coordination and involvement of designers and curators in the creative process, converging their theoretical interpretation in the poetics of space. The creation of a scenic environment of cognitive and affective dimension, places the visitor in a journey where he wanders between moments of knowledge discovery and pure visual enjoyment
