O impacto sócio-familiar do processo RVCC

Abstract

O presente projecto foi realizado no domínio da Mestrado em Ciências da Educação, na área de especialização de Formação de Adultos. O principal objectivo deste trabalho foi tentar aferir se as dinâmicas familiares de adultos certificados sofreram algumas alterações nomeadamente quanto à capacidade dos Encarregados de Educação acompanharem melhor os percursos escolares dos seus educandos, se houve alterações quanto à realização de tarefas e actividades em conjunto e se se encontram agora mais confiantes, se entendem que têm maior legitimidade para incentivar a permanência dos seus educandos em percursos escolares e formativos. Pretendeu-se ,assim, verificar se são observáveis as intenções expressas no Programa do XVIII Governo, no âmbito do papel dos Centros Novas Oportunidades das escolas públicas: “Utilizar os Centros Novas Oportunidades das escolas para, em parceria com as respectivas associações, desenvolver iniciativas de formação e qualificação destinadas especificamente aos pais e encarregados de educação, que lhes permitam, também, acompanhar melhor as actividades escolares dos filhos.”

This project was carried out in the field of Science Education and Training of Adults in the Process of Recognition, Validation and Certification of school level, in order to obtain the degree of Master of Educational Sciences, specialization in the area of Education and Training of Youth and Adults with little schooling. The main objective of this study was to try to verify if the family dynamics of candidates already certified, experienced some changes, particularly regarding the ability of guardians to better monitor school activities of their children, if there were changes in the execution of tasks and activities together and if the same candidates are now more confident and understand that they have greater legitimacy to encourage their students to stay in school courses and training. The intention with this study, is to check, if the intentions expressed in the XVIII Government Program about the New Opportunities Centers role in public schools, are observable: "Using the New Opportunities Centres for schools, in partnership with their associations, to develop initiatives for training and qualification, specifically designed for parents and guardians, also to enable them, to better monitor the school activities of their children."
