| Abstract: | This report aims to describe the practice of supervised teaching held in Professor José
Augusto Lucas School in Linda-a-Velha in academic year 2009/2010, under the 4th
semester of master's degree in Visual Arts teaching.
Teaching activities took place with 12th grade students of the Scientific-Humanistic
course of Visual Arts in the Curriculum area named - Àrea de Projecto.
After a theoretical contextualization on the fundamentals and research that led to the
development of this work, we provide a detailed description of the project.
"TransformArte" was the name chosen for a project that aims to develop competencies
in the field of art through experimentation of planning methodology.
We discuss the skills of Visual Arts students at the end of secondary education, within a
constructivist perspective, aiming their application in professional future.
