Abstract

This paper presents a brief look at the poetic project of Brazilian artist Alina d'Alva Duchrow during her stay in Tunisia. She carries within her the characteristics of a traveller - there is nothing like the risk and also the fate of randomness to indicate the starting point of her creative process. We analyse her interactions with the unfamilia, her readiness to encounter the new, and her openness to being affected by the world. Her work becomes a rich process that follows each experience
