Abstract: Fishing was, undoubtedly, one of the most important economic activities in Antiquity. The high number of fishing-related artifacts, such as fish hooks, net weights, plummets, sinkers and net-making needles, as well as faunistic remains recovered at Monte MoliĆ£o reveal that, in this site, this activity must have had a vital importance throughout the whole diachrony of the siteās occupation. Creating groups and typologies of the materials related to piscatory activity allowed for an analysis of the evolution in the techniques used throughout the periods of occupation, as well as a differentiation of the capture targets.
