| Abstract: | This article presents an analysis of some of the aspects of the photography of Armínio Kaiser, which forms a vast report on North State of Paraná (Brazil) Colonization (during the 1950´s and 1960’s). The main objective is to point at the relevance of his photography, in such a way as to emphasize some specific aspects of his work. By means of historical and semiological approaches the results reveal the great profoundness of Armínio Kaiser´s photography, such as his gaze and class position, the articulation of bodily performances and the conflict between abjection and esthetic elaboration |
