Abstract: In the serie Penwald Drawings, Tony Orrico (1979, Ilinois) uses his body as a measurement tool and coal as pictorial material. In this piece of work the artist experiments with the sensation of double domination and, as a result, he will obtain some drawings which are almost perfect from a mathematical point of view. For Orrico, the performance of the pictorial process is an essential part of his work
