Abstract: The series Revelation (2018), by the Brazilian visual artist Adriana Barreto, starts from the assumption that the other (as discussed by Jean Luc-Nancy) is an essential part in the development of her performance in which: the body exists in relation to another; the body exposes an existence; the inside of the body is especially one outside the outside: what is withdrawn from the outside to stay outside; the body is not confused with any other, nor recovers and is not covered by another; the body is that by what, how and what happens; and finally, the body is only doing and doing itself — always out of everything that could contain it. His work, in the context of Brazilian art, had affiliation with the aesthetic legacy of the artist Lygia Clark
